From day one, you'll enjoy: * A comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage * Competitive paid time off, including holidays * Pay based on relevant work experience, education, and certifications * Various work schedules and pay shift differentials for night and weekend hours worked **Your Key Responsibilities** As a Remote Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for: * Receiving in-bound calls from customers and providing superior service * Listening to our customers' concerns, solving problems, answering questions, and working with them to find a resolution while showing empathy * Taking the initiative to truly understand our customers' current challenges, solving them, and using your expertise to proactively help them avoid future challenges * Participating in special projects, assuming new responsibilities, and adjusting priorities as requested **Note:** This position does not involve cold calling/outbound calls related to solicitations, contract upgrades, or sales of any kind. **Requirements for Success** To excel in this role, you will need: * A minimum of 1 year experience providing customer support * Great communication skills, a love for talking to people, and the ability to "wow" customers on every call * A relentless drive to own customers' problems and the ability to think outside of the box to resolve them * A minimum high school diploma or GED * The ability to commit to having a home office environment that is free of distractions or responsibilities outside of the role during working hours assigned **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following skills and experience would be highly beneficial: * A minimum of 2 years' experience providing customer support in a call center, banking, insurance, or sales environment/industry * Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills * A college degree * Prior experience in a work-from-home position * Bilingual in English/Spanish: the ability to speak, read, and write the Spanish language fluently * Strong attention to detail * Ability to adapt to change and work well in a fast-paced environment * Ability to multi-task using technology **Working Conditions and Physical Requirements** As a Remote Customer Care Specialist, you will: * Spend prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer * Work a full-time schedule, with hours of operation from 7 days a week, Monday through Sunday, 365 days per year, including holidays * Be willing and able to start as late as 12pm EST and work until 9pm EST * Have internet services with a minimum internet speed of 15 Mbps on the download side and a minimum of 3 Mbps on the upload side * Meet general office demands **Compensation** Our pay range is $17.00 - $24.00 per hour, with opportunities for salary growth within the position. **Why Join blithequark?** At blithequark, we're passionate about helping people thrive in a connected world.
