About the Role We're seeking an experienced and skilled Remote Chat Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch live chat support to our clients' customers via their websites and social media accounts. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional live chat support to customers via our clients' websites and social media accounts, responding to a wide range of queries and concerns. Handle customer support questions and sales inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that customers receive timely and accurate responses. Work closely with our clients to understand their products and services, and provide expert advice and guidance to customers. Collaborate with our team to resolve complex customer issues and escalate concerns to senior support specialists as needed. Stay up-to-date with our clients' products and services, and participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge. Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A strong background in customer support, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions. Proficiency in using a range of software applications, including live chat tools, CRM systems, and social media platforms. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team to achieve shared goals. Reliable internet connection and a device able to access social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop). 10+ hours availability per week, with flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment. Knowledge of our clients' products and services, or a willingness to learn. Fluency in multiple languages, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds. Experience using live chat software, such as Zendesk or Freshdesk. Knowledge of CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
