Job Overview The Chat Moderator position at arenaflex is a part-time, remote, and flexible role designed to ensure the smooth operation and adherence to community standards of our official Discord server. Key Responsibilities Modifying and managing the Discord server to ensure compliance with community guidelines and rules. Deleting messages that violate server rules to maintain a safe and respectful environment. Banning users with multiple and repeat violations of server rules, following established protocols and guidelines. Muting users who have violated server rules, as necessary, to prevent further disruptions. Investigating reports from users regarding rule violations, gathering information, and taking appropriate action based on findings. Collaborating with other moderators and team members to ensure consistent application of community standards and to address any issues that may arise. Staying updated on community guidelines, server rules, and best practices in moderation to continuously improve moderation skills and knowledge. Essential Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age to apply for this position. High School Diploma or GED is required as a minimum educational qualification. Previous experience in community moderation, customer service, or a related field is highly desirable. Strong understanding of community guidelines, rules, and best practices in moderation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
