Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and compassionate patient care advocate to join our team as a remote call center customer service representative. In this role, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls from members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients, addressing their questions and concerns related to pharmacy benefits. Your primary goal will be to research and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need to maximize the use of their pharmacy distribution program. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound member, provider, and physician calls, responding to questions and concerns related to pharmacy benefits Use computerized systems to gather information and respond to questions, ensuring that all inquiries are documented accurately and completely Work with other operational departments to research and resolve mail order and claims issues, responding to members within performance agreement guidelines Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries to continuously improve the customer service process and reduce potential legal concerns Identify and escalate concerns received from patients and/or clients in a prudent manner, ensuring that corrective action is pursued and expedited to meet their needs Adhere to quality and production standards, complying with all applicable company, state, and federal safety regulations Perform other duties as needed to support the team and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: 1 year of experience in a call center environment (preferred) 1 year of experience in customer service (preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and provide compassionate support Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues in a timely manner Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting productivity standards and performance guarantees where applicable Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a healthcare or pharmacy benefits environment Knowledge of pharmacy distribution programs and mail order services Experience with computerized systems and databases, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, providers, and internal stakeholders Problem-solving skills: strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues in a timely manner Interpersonal skills: strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and provide compassionate support Time management skills: strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Adaptability: ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and positive attitude Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
