Job Overview As a Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling customer service inquiries from various stakeholders, including members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients. Your primary focus will be on addressing questions and concerns related to pharmacy benefits, researching and resolving problems in a timely manner, and assisting members in understanding and maximizing the use of their pharmacy distribution program. You will utilize our computerized system to gather information, respond to questions, and document issues and resolutions in a common database. Your ability to escalate issues as necessary and maintain accurate and complete documentation will be essential in continuously improving our customer service process and reducing potential legal concerns. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls from members, providers, and physicians, answering questions related to pharmacy benefits while maintaining productivity standards and performance guarantees. Work collaboratively with other operational departments to research and resolve mail order and claims issues, responding to members within performance agreement guidelines. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries to continuously improve the customer service process and reduce potential legal concerns. Identify and escalate concerns received from patients and/or clients in a prudent manner, ensuring that corrective action can be pursued and expedited to address their needs. Adhere to quality and production standards, complying with all applicable blithequark, state, and federal safety regulations and guidelines. Perform other duties as needed to support the team and contribute to the overall success of blithequark. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in a call center environment, preferably in a customer-facing role. At least 1 year of experience in customer service, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support and care to clients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders, including members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues in a timely and efficient manner. Proficiency in using computerized systems to gather information, respond to questions, and document issues and resolutions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining productivity standards and performance guarantees while ensuring high-quality support and care to clients. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Experience working in the healthcare industry, preferably in a pharmacy benefits or distribution program context. Knowledge of pharmacy benefits and distribution programs, including mail order and claims processes. Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients. Proficiency in multiple languages, with the ability to provide support and care to clients with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
