Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in our Cath Lab, where you will be an integral part of our comprehensive cardiovascular care team. As a vital member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology in cardiac care, including the Abbot Bioabsorbable Stent, and participate in a wide range of cardiovascular services, including diagnostic and interventional coronary care, structural heart procedures, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and interventional neurology. Key Responsibilities Seamlessly move between Cardiac, EP, IR, and Peripheral procedures, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to provide exceptional patient care. Educate and prepare patients for their procedures, ensuring they are informed and comfortable throughout the process. Work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, radiologists, and other nurses, to provide comprehensive care to our patients. Participate in stand-by/on-call rotation, which includes call expectations on average of 1 weekend for every 4 weeks and 1-2 nights per week, depending on staffing levels. Cross-train into EP procedures, expanding your skill set and knowledge in advanced cardiac and vascular care. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred. Relevant experience in Critical Care or Cath Lab, with a minimum of 1 year of CCU/ICU or ED experience within the last 2 years, or a minimum of 2 years of CCU and/or ICU experience and/or a minimum of 2 years ED experience within the last 5 years. A current RN license from the Oregon State Board of Nursing. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with RCIS certification preferred. The ability to live within 30 minutes of the hospital due to mandatory call requirements. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a Cath Lab or similar setting. Advanced certifications, such as RCIS or CCRN. A strong background in cardiovascular nursing, with a passion for advanced cardiac and vascular care.
