Experienced Quality Control Inspector for Medical Products and Raw Materials - 2nd Shift Remote Opportunity with Competitive Salary and Benefits

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our medical products and raw materials, and we are excited to offer this opportunity as a remote position with a competitive salary and benefits package. Job Summary We are looking for a responsible and organized individual to inspect raw materials and finished goods, including medical products, using manual, visual, measurement, and/or test equipment. The successful candidate will follow company-established procedures, complete required documentation, and provide disposition for inspected products. This is a 2nd shift position, and the ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure compliance with established quality procedures and company policies. Major Responsibilities Perform in-process inspection and testing of finished goods and/or raw materials manufactured by or for Medline Industries Read and understand company procedures for specific materials inspections Complete inspection documentation per applicable inspection procedures Identify errors and omissions for correction Operate test equipment and perform simple measurement activities per applicable standard operating procedures Identify defects and initiate non-conforming material reports during in-process and final inspections per pre-established company policy or Accepted Quality Limits (AQL) Communicate effectively with business partners such as quality assurance, warehouse, maintenance, and/or manufacturing groups Verify and/or approve line start-up and equipment applicable requirements per company-established procedures when applicable Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: High School Diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of quality control experience in a regulated industry Basic math skills, including fractional to decimal conversions Ability to work in hot and cold environments and at heights Sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods, with frequent bending and kneeling Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to prioritize quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to process all relevant details, understanding and prioritizing their importance and drawing concise conclusions Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Basic knowledge of quality regulations such as GMP, GDP, ISO, or 21CFR 820, 210-211 Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: At least 1 year of quality control experience in medical device and/or drug manufacturing setting Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Skills and Competencies The successful candidate will possess: Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Basic knowledge of quality control principles and practices Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Medline Industries, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
