About the Role: QA Analyst As a QA Analyst at blithequark, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data. You'll work closely with our campaign managers, operations team, and central analytics group to gather data and metrics requirements. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with campaign managers, operations, and our central analytics group to gather data and metrics requirements, ensuring that our insights are informed and actionable. Manage and Improve Reporting: Oversee and enhance integrated reporting for internal ad spend and performance. Conduct audits, improve data processes around data flow, and ensure data accuracy to drive informed decision-making. Optimize Ad Testing Processes: Manage in-house processes for ad testing, tracking, and logging ongoing studies/tests across multiple platforms. Develop automation to improve data precision and scalability. SQL Query Development: Write high-quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from database tables, ensuring that our data insights are accurate and reliable. Data Integrity and Accuracy: Collaborate with our analytics and cross-functional partners to identify and correct data integrity/accuracy issues across our reporting, data framework, and dashboards. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in data analysis, technical skills, and collaboration. Here's what we're looking for: Bachelor's Degree: A BA or BS degree in a relevant field is required. SQL Experience: 2+ years of experience in SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL, etc.) is essential for this role. Collaboration and Teamwork: Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams is crucial. Distributed Systems Experience: Experience building/working with distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large datasets from multiple sources is highly valued. Adaptability and Proactivity: You're a self-starter with the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and uncertain circumstances. A history of stepping up and taking initiative is a must.
