About the Position The Provider Customer Services Call and Chat Representative plays a vital role in our organization, serving as the primary point of contact for healthcare providers who have questions or concerns about benefits, eligibility, billing, and other related topics. As a representative, you will be responsible for responding to inquiries via phone calls and concurrent chats, providing timely and effective resolutions to issues, and advocating for providers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Serve as the advocate for providers, demonstrating accountability and ownership in resolving issues and concerns. Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare professionals, including physicians, clinics, and billing offices, through multiple channels, including calls and chats. Quickly and accurately triage contacts from healthcare professionals, understanding their needs and providing timely resolutions to their inquiries. Research and dissect complex prior authorization and claim issues, collaborating with internal partners to ensure effective communication and resolution. Navigate over 30 systems to extract necessary information, utilizing strong multitasking skills to efficiently resolve issues across multiple lines of business. Influence providers to utilize self-service digital tools, promoting faster resolutions and enhancing their experience with our services. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience. 1+ years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of analyzing and solving customer concerns. Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications. Ability to type at a speed of 35-40+ words per minute (WPM) with an accuracy of 90% or higher. Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to work any full-time (40 hours/week), 8-hour shift between the hours of 10:35 AM - 7:05 PM CST from Monday - Friday. Preferred Qualifications Prior healthcare experience and knowledge of healthcare terminology. Experience in a related environment, such as an office, call center, or customer service role, using phones and computers as primary job tools. Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and internal partners. You will also need to be highly organized, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Additionally, you will need to be proficient in navigating multiple computer systems and applications, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
