About the Role: Project Director - RES PMO We're looking for a talented Project Director to lead our RES PMO (Project Management Office) team in driving strategic portfolio management and project execution across the division. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing high-value projects, developing project plans, and ensuring timely delivery. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth, improving processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Lead project management activities for high-value projects across the RES division, from initiation to execution and closure. Develop and maintain project artifacts, including project charters, plans, risk and issue logs, and dashboards. Manage multiple simultaneous projects of varying priority and complexity, across different teams and stakeholders. Drive the development of the organization's culture at the functional level, ensuring strong alignment with stakeholders across the broader project. Develop communication strategies and implement processes, activities, and projects that result in timely dissemination of information and communication consistency. Support the development of business cases, prioritization, and overall divisional portfolio management. Establish and maintain effective relationships and feedback loops between leaders, functional stakeholders, and cross-divisional Delta teams. Contribute to the growth and development of the RES PMO capability and the creation of a Center of Excellence for strategic portfolio management. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Excellent planning, organization, and creative problem-solving skills. A proven track record of managing and delivering multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across the organization and build and effectively manage relationships with stakeholders and senior management. The ability to lead and work independently and within a team. Proficiency in written and oral communications, with the ability to produce concise documents for executive presentations. A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. At least 18 years old and authorization to work in the US. Compliance with Delta's COVID-19 vaccination policy (where allowed by relevant law). Preferred Qualifications To give you a competitive edge, we prefer: A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or experience managing projects according to Project Management Institute (PMI) principles. Experience with PowerApps, Sharepoint, and project management software. A proven ability to work in a high-profile environment with fluid priorities, ambiguity, and aggressive timelines.
