About the Role The arenaflex InHome team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Item Director to own the customer delivery experience. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the entire customer journey, from placing an InHome order to receiving daily groceries seamlessly in their refrigerators. You will collaborate closely with the customer success team and work cross-functionally to gather insights and buy-in on projects that drive high customer satisfaction scores. Your expertise will be instrumental in defining and developing an item strategy for the InHome customer experience, building the product roadmap, and analyzing the progress of features through data and key metrics. Key Responsibilities Define and foster an item strategy for the InHome customer experience, aligning with the company's mission to simplify shopping and improve customers' lives Build and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of customers and stays ahead of industry trends Collaborate with internal stakeholders to push the boundaries of creating the best customer experience, leveraging emerging technologies and innovative approaches Analyze the progress of features through data and key metrics, effectively communicating wins and opportunity areas to leadership and stakeholders Define item KPIs and adjust the product to continuously meet KPIs, ensuring that the customer experience remains exceptional and convenient Lead customer research and translate customer needs into priorities and business impact, driving the development of products that meet the needs of diverse customer segments Act as a friendly, supportive resource and advocate for customers and their concerns, ensuring that their voices are heard and their issues are resolved promptly Launch new features on time and with a high level of quality, including testing and QA, to maintain the trust and loyalty of customers Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 5+ years of experience as a product director, with a degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience Specialization in product design for customer experience, from conception to launch, with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and human-computer interaction Experience driving product vision and go-to-market strategies, with a proven track record of delivering products that meet customer needs and drive business growth Passion for emerging technologies and their potential to transform the customer experience, with a keen eye for innovation and a willingness to experiment and learn Preferred Qualifications If you have the following qualifications, you will be highly competitive for this role: A graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, with 6 years of experience as a product director, preferably managing consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products Experience working in an agile or lean environment, with a deep understanding of iterative development methodologies and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements Experience with last-mile product management, with a focus on delivering products that meet the needs of customers in the final stages of the supply chain Previous startup or incubator experience, with a background in adjusting technical and business requirements to drive innovation and growth Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong product management skills, with the ability to define and deliver products that meet customer needs and drive business growth Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to inform product decisions Passion for customer experience and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and human-computer interaction Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
