Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and promoting a culture of continuous learning and development. Develop and implement a comprehensive data analysis and reporting strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives. Design and implement complex data models and reporting structures that meet the needs of the business. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, data engineers, and IT professionals, to develop comprehensive data solutions. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data analytics and data science, and evaluate their relevance to the company. Develop and implement data quality standards and best practices, and ensure the integrity, security, and performance of data products and reporting solutions. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering community, and foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and skill development. Essential Qualifications 15+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting roles, with a strong background in data analytics and data science. 5+ years of experience in leadership or senior roles, with a proven ability to effectively guide and lead a team. 5+ years of experience working with cloud technologies, such as ADLS, Azure Databricks, Spark, Azure Synapse, Universe DB, DBT, and other big data technologies. Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools, languages, ML, and frameworks (e.g., Cosmos, PowerBI, SQL, Python, R). Experience working with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, to architect and implement scalable and efficient data analysis solutions. In-depth understanding and practical application of Lakehouse architecture principles, combining the best of data lakes and data warehouses for robust and scalable data management. High-level SQL skills, with a strong understanding of relational databases and business data, and the ability to write complex SQL queries against multiple data sources. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Data Science, or a related technical discipline. Important industry certifications are a plus. Experience in retail, manufacturing, e-commerce, or supply chain management.
