Job Overview The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the department's teaching, research, and service missions. This will involve teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in International Relations, conducting original research, and participating in departmental and university-wide service activities. We are particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to the department's strengths in International Relations, while also enhancing our diversity and inclusion initiatives. Key Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in International Relations, including introductory courses, seminars, and graduate workshops Conduct original research in International Relations, with a focus on publishing in top-tier academic journals and presses Participate in departmental and university-wide service activities, including committee work, mentoring, and community engagement Contribute to the department's diversity and inclusion initiatives, including teaching courses that address issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion Mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students, including supervising thesis and dissertation research Essential Qualifications To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Ph.D. in Political Science or a related field in hand prior to the appointment.
