Job Overview In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for nurses seeking to fill shifts at healthcare facilities. Your responsibilities will include verifying credentials, managing inbound and outbound calls, and handling multiple chat channels simultaneously. You will be the face of arenaflex, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our essential workers receive the support they need to succeed. As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and efficient shift placement. Key Responsibilities Verify nurses' credentials online and follow up with written messages to confirm validity for specific healthcare facilities Handle inbound and outbound calls in a timely and professional manner, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently Manage multiple chat channels simultaneously, responding to customer queries and providing support as needed Follow established communication scripts and protocols when handling different topics and customer interactions Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research, and provide solutions and/or alternatives to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction Access company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide support Perform data entry and customer service tasks with accuracy and efficiency Navigate online systems efficiently to verify credentials, manage shifts, and access relevant information Work requests and records received for shift sign-ups, identifying customers' needs and researching to ensure credentials are met Maintain punctuality, attendance, and a positive, professional demeanor in all customer interactions Cross-train as requested to support the growth and development of the team Essential Qualifications 1 year of customer service or customer support experience, preferably in a call center or office environment Technical savvy and proficiency in navigating online systems and tools Previous remote work experience is a plus, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Typing speed of 35 words per minute with high accuracy Excellent phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening and strong customer service skills Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state and federal laws Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a healthcare or medical setting, with knowledge of credential verification and shift placement Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools and technologies Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we're committed to the growth and development of our team members.
