As a key member of our team, you will maintain accurate and timely documentation of all approvals and denials, and escalate clinical questions and judgment calls to our pharmacists, ensuring that our members receive the best possible care. Key Responsibilities Respond to incoming calls from members and providers, providing professional and courteous assistance through the prior authorization process Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation of all approvals and denials Transfer clinical questions and judgment calls to pharmacists, ensuring that members receive expert guidance and support Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve member and provider inquiries and concerns Stay up-to-date with our policies, procedures, and systems, ensuring that you are equipped to provide exceptional service and support Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a minimum of one year of experience in a customer-facing position, preferably in a high-volume call center environment, with a strong preference for experience in healthcare, social services, or a similar field. While a Pharmacy Technician certification is not mandatory, it is highly desirable, and you will need to have a verifiable High School diploma or GED.
