**Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate – Delivering Exceptional Patient Experience and Pharmacy Support**

Our Pharmacy Customer Service Associates play a vital role in achieving this goal by providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient service to our customers. As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for registering sales on assigned cash registers, assisting the pharmacist with prescription processing, and engaging with customers to resolve issues and answer questions. **Key Responsibilities:** * Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by greeting customers, offering assistance, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. * Register sales on assigned cash registers, collect cash, and distribute change as requested; process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. * Assist the pharmacist with prescription processing, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. * Engage with customers to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide product recommendations. * Maintain a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters and shelves, and perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager. * Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to blithequark's policies and procedures regarding pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program. * Handle telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians. * Process manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner. * Assist with inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals. * Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco products. * Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. * Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies and procedures. * Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine. * Assume web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers. * Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance. **Essential Qualifications:** * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). * Requires a willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekend hours. * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Six months of experience in a retail environment. * Prior work experience with blithequark. * Good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. * Good computer skills. * Knowledge of store inventory control. * PTCB certification. **Skills and Competencies:** * Excellent customer service skills, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. * Strong communication and problem-solving skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. * Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling. * Familiarity with pharmacy systems and equipment. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** * blithequark offers a comprehensive training program to help you develop your skills and knowledge in pharmacy and customer service. * Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth within the company. * Competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. * Discounts on blithequark products and services. * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance and contributions to the team. **Work Environment and Company Culture:** * blithequark is a dynamic and patient-centric company that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. * Our company culture is built on a foundation of respect, empathy, and compassion for our customers and colleagues. * We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and growth. **Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:** * Competitive hourly rate and opportunities for overtime pay. * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. * Discounts on blithequark products and services. * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance and contributions to the team. **How to Apply:** If you are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in a fast-paced retail environment, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
