Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for the execution of medical services methodologies and driving patient well-being results. As a Pharmacist Centralized Services professional, you will execute patient intervention pharmacy programs, ensure consistency of clinical pharmacy services, and drive pharmacy financial performance by implementing pharmacy programs to maximize reimbursements while improving patient health outcomes. You will also be accountable for prescription handling from a remote setting, fostering strong relationships with clinical communities, and serving as a representative and contact for arenaflex. Key Responsibilities Carry out direct patient care programs, including but not limited to Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects Drive the execution of various strategies and operations to ensure business needs are being met Drive consistency and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by contemplating, assessing, and redesigning processes; monitoring and analyzing results; and implementing changes Ensure regional pharmacies comply with regulatory compliance, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines Drive local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies to the organization's financial objectives Implement and execute patient intervention pharmacy projects to maximize financial performance Support efforts to enhance the patient experience by increasing the focus on healthcare services (e.g., patient consultations, medication management, drug therapy reviews, and retail, clinical, or wellness services, vaccinations, disease state management, and Specialty programs) Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field initiatives Support staff training experiences and development opportunities Conduct data and clinical audits and make strategic moves to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions Review drug records and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment Provide individualized patient/supplier consultation Essential Qualifications Current Pharmacist license as conferred by the appropriate state licensing authority Experience motivating colleagues to research and resolve issues Experience working with confidential information Able to work non-standard hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and/or weekends Experience using time management skills, such as prioritizing/organizing and following details and meeting deadlines of multiple tasks with varying completion dates Experience creating approaches to achieving goals with minimal supervision, relying on oneself to complete objectives, and knowing when to escalate issues Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction Preferred Qualifications Willingness to acquire other state pharmacy licenses if necessary Knowledge of insurance plans Knowledge of computer operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (e.g., opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting borders, selecting page orientation, using spell check, or printing worksheets) Basic level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., inserting, editing, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding list level, adding, centering, and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing frame view, or running a slide show) Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (e.g., opening a document, cutting, copying, and editing text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, formatting, inserting shots, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet, or print functions) Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
