As the primary contact for clients, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service for personal lines customers by leveraging your in-depth knowledge of our insurance products. If you're passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Provide timely and professional responses to all customer requests, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience. * Initiate endorsements and other policy changes for customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. * Process and transmit necessary information to clients and brokers via fax, email, or mail, including ID Cards, DEC pages, applications, quotes, and more. * Assist applicants and brokers with completion of the application and required forms, ensuring a smooth onboarding process. * Collaborate with the underwriting team to obtain information from clients and brokers, fostering strong relationships and driving business growth. * Escalate customer service issues to management as needed, demonstrating a proactive and solutions-focused approach. * Participate in special projects, showcasing your adaptability and willingness to learn. * Provide expert guidance to clients on billing questions, policy changes, and other insurance-related matters. * Actively look to round out accounts by referring other value-added services, driving revenue growth and client satisfaction. * Review and rewrite current accounts to carriers that better fit the client's needs, demonstrating your expertise and attention to detail. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information and files, including communication and activities in our agency management system. * Stay abreast of changes in carrier plans and policies, ensuring you're always equipped to provide the best possible service. * Pursue ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge, driving continuous improvement. * Build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and agents, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. **Competencies:** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following competencies: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. * Strong organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team, demonstrating a high level of autonomy and collaboration. * Basic PC skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Property & Casualty Producer's License preferred, but not required. **Physical Demands:** The physical demands of this role include: * Moderate stress due to regular deadlines and daily challenges. * High finger dexterity while typing documents and forms. * Occasional lifting of up to 20lbs. **Work Environment:** You'll be working in a temperature-controlled, non-smoking office with moderately high-sided cubicles.
