Our Patient Customer Service team is the backbone of our customer-facing operations, and we're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Support Representative to join our remote team. About the Role As a Customer Service Support Representative at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for patients, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers. Your expertise and dedication will drive exceptional customer experiences, resolve complex billing issues, and contribute to the overall success of our Revenue Cycle Management Division. Key Responsibilities Handle a high volume of inbound calls (80+ per day) from patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers, providing timely and effective resolutions to their inquiries. Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring a smooth and empathetic experience. Utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, demonstrating a strong understanding of our processes and systems. Maintain performance goals and adhere to productivity standards, continuously improving your skills and knowledge. Become proficient in our processes and systems after completing a structured training program, leveraging your attention to detail and organizational skills. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A High School Diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and healthcare professionals. Proficiency in navigating multiple computer screens and applications, with alpha-numeric data entry skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A dedicated work-from-home space with a stable internet connection (download speed of at least 50 megabytes per second) and the ability to connect equipment to a router/modem with an Ethernet cord. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following experience and skills will give you a competitive edge: Previous medical and/or call center experience, with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry. Familiarity with patient billing and insurance processes. Technical skills, including proficiency in software applications and systems relevant to the role.
