About the Role As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in applying the latest customer service techniques and learning our account management systems to improve the customer experience during challenging times. This part-time position offers flexibility, with approximately 3-29 hours of work per week. You will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of shifts that suit your schedule, all from the comfort of your own home office. Available Shifts Sundays Only: 8:00AM-4:00PM Saturdays Only: 8:00AM-4:00PM Saturdays Only: 4:00PM-12:00AM Saturday & Sunday: 4:00PM-9:00PM Saturdays Only: 4:00PM-9:00PM Sundays Only: 4:00PM-9:00PM Saturdays Only: 1:00PM-7:00PM Saturdays Only: 8:00AM-4:00PM Sundays Only: 8:00AM-5:00PM Saturdays Only: 8:00AM-11:00AM Saturday & Sunday: 7:00AM-5:00PM Saturdays Only: 7:00AM-5:00PM Sundays Only: 7:00AM-5:00PM Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary duties will include: Providing positive customer service and technical expertise through prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer inquiries Offering empathy and support to customers during the claim process Collecting and documenting claim details accurately Identifying and resolving customer issues by adhering to client-specific handling instructions Utilizing call scripting to ensure consistency and efficiency in handling customer claims and inquiries Remaining available for extended hours or additional shifts during peak periods or emergency situations to provide critical support Adhering to break and lunch schedules to maintain productivity and ensure consistent customer service coverage Successfully demonstrating blithequark's core values, including customer-first approach, self-motivation, teamwork, and continuous improvement Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess: Language skills, including the ability to read and interpret documents such as police and accident reports Ability to write routine correspondence and detailed accident descriptions Ability to project a confident, clear, and professional telephone presence Ability to provide feedback verbally and in writing in a positive, professional manner Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred Computer skills, including knowledge of basic computer functions, Microsoft Word, and Excel, with a typing speed of at least 40wpm Education and Experience We require: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) 1-2 years of quality assurance experience is preferred Network Requirements To work from home effectively, you will need: A reliable computer with a speed test result from www.speedtest.net An Ethernet connection is strongly recommended, although not required A private network, as you will not be allowed to work in public locations No VPNs are allowed, as logins must occur in the US Benefits and Compensation At blithequark, we offer: Competitive compensation Ancillary benefits, including dental, accident insurance, critical illness, dependent care, FSA (Flex Savings Account), and SavvyFi- College Savings, eligible on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment 401K eligibility after 6 months of employment PTO eligibility after 90 days of employment Employee Assistance Program Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
