Job Overview In this exciting role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and security of our information technology systems and networks across the enterprise. As a Systems Engineer Lead, you will play a critical leadership role in managing and supervising other engineers on the team, providing technical guidance and expertise, and driving the implementation of new technologies and solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues, develop and implement system lifecycle management plans, and collaborate with vendors to resolve domain-related incidents. Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and expertise to the systems engineering team, including guidance on strategy, design, and support Collaborate with other technical services teams to manage, maintain, and resolve complex IT services Develop and implement system lifecycle management plans, including bug fixes, critical updates, and new solution releases Lead root cause analysis investigations for critical or recurring incidents and provide escalation support for incident resolution Create and maintain a system of documentation, including knowledge base articles, design support, and technical documentation Participate in project realization, including requirements guidance, design, development, deployment, and compliance and safety assessments Monitor industry technology trends and influence vendor product plans based on Starbucks technology requirements Evangelize and gain support for new technologies and solutions within the organization Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong technical background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
