Job Overview We are looking for 100% remote customer service associates who are eager to provide technical assistance and support to our internal and external clients, trading partners, and vendors. As a Part Time Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for answering inbound phone calls, assessing customer needs, and offering solutions in an efficient, courteous, and accurate manner. Key Responsibilities Answer a high volume of inbound technical phone calls and provide timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues with high First Contact Resolution rates (FCR) Follow established policies, procedures, processes, and workflows to ensure appropriate resolution of issues of limited scope Document all issues, comments, and resolutions in appropriate software system applications Assess customer needs and offer solutions to ensure a superior customer experience Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: A high school diploma, GED Certificate, or equivalency; Associate or Bachelor's degree in healthcare management preferred A minimum of two years' experience in customer service, including six months in a lower-level customer care representative role Understanding of the insurance industry, electronic claims, medical office knowledge, and/or coding/billing preferred Technical expertise with specialized applications, including knowledge of hardware, software, applications, and preferred vendor systems Excellent verbal communication and written documentation skills Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with excellent organizational skills Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Knowledge of claim formats (e.g., ANSI, NSF, and Print Image) and HIPAA transactions sets (e.g., 837, 835, 270/271, and 276/277) Experience working in a remote or virtual environment Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technical tools Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess: Strong technical skills and ability to learn new software and systems quickly Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume call center environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues Career Growth Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
