Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, or chat, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely and effective solutions. Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets, book and confirm flight reservations, and rebook travelers on oversold flights or during irregular operations. Perform passenger check-in and seat assignment, correct oversold seat assignments, and issue upgrades. Issue vouchers and provide direction with contractors for passenger lodging, meals, and transportation, and coordinate refuel and refresh. Work gate reader/scanner and related duties, including pre-boarding, monitoring/checking carry-on items, and departure line models. Operate jetways/bridges for boarding and deplaning passengers, make boarding and departure gate announcements, and convey domestic/international flight documents. Perform passenger service flight close-out procedures, accept, check, and label passengers' baggage at destination points, and maintain a schedule of flight boarding processes. Process and complete credit card transactions at ticket counters and activation stations, and assist passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and baggage handling. Provide client care hands-on training, and perform client assistance work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail. Proficiency in using computer systems, software, and technology, including customer relationship management (CRM) tools and airline reservation systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to adapt to changing schedules and priorities. High school diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience in the airline industry or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak languages other than English. Working knowledge of Sabre or other passenger management systems, with experience in using these systems to manage passenger reservations, check-in, and baggage handling. Prior experience working in a high-speed environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail. Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders who are located in different geographic locations.
