As a remote customer retention specialist, you will be an integral part of our efforts to retain and grow our customer base. **Primary Responsibilities** As a part-time remote customer retention specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: * Handling high-volume calls in a dynamic call center environment, with an average of 90+ calls per day * Engaging with existing policyholders to understand their needs and concerns, and providing personalized solutions to address their issues * Explaining and reselling the benefits of life insurance to policyholders, highlighting the importance of protecting their loved ones and achieving their financial goals * Processing cancellation requests and ensuring a smooth transition for policyholders * Maintaining department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management * Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: * 1+ years of work experience in a high-volume contact center environment, receptionist role, or a role that involves frequent phone interactions * 6+ months of experience in retention, sales, or collections * 18 years of age or older * High School Diploma or equivalent * Strong remote experience (although not required) * Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 20 Download and 20 Upload Mbps, and a hard-wired connection * A smartphone to access VPN * Ability to work in a quiet and professional environment * Basic computer knowledge and skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm * Superior customer service skills, including friendliness, efficiency, and active listening * Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions, and Microsoft Office * Ability to multi-task and work under pressure * Excellent organization and time management skills * Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: * Insurance industry experience * Sales experience * Bilingual candidates (although not required) **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote customer retention specialist, you will work from the comfort of your own home, with the flexibility to manage your schedule and work at your own pace. arenaflex values work-life balance and provides a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and development.
