We are a remote team, and we are seeking a highly skilled and organized bookkeeper to join our team and support our rapid growth. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced part-time remote bookkeeper to join our team and provide financial support to our clients. As a remote bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining multiple QuickBooks files, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, auditing vendor and customer accounts, and providing accurate financial statements. You will also be responsible for moving small businesses towards their financial goals through consistent support and important reminders. **Responsibilities** As a part-time remote bookkeeper, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: * Maintain multiple QuickBooks files by entering transactions accurately and efficiently * Reconcile bank, credit card, and Line of Credit accounts in QuickBooks to ensure accuracy and completeness * Audit vendor and customer accounts for accurate A/P and A/R to ensure timely payments and collections * Provide accurate and timely financial statements to clients, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements * Obtain necessary documentation for accuracy of transactions, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements * Move small businesses towards their financial goals through consistent support and important reminders, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning * Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and goals, and provide personalized support and guidance to help them achieve their objectives **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills: * 2-year degree in accounting, finance, or a related field * QuickBooks Online certification, with experience maintaining multiple QuickBooks files for multiple companies * Efficient typing skills, with the ability to enter transactions accurately and efficiently * Professional phone etiquette, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Correspondence writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner * Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies and errors **Preferred Qualifications** While a 2-year degree is required, a 4-year degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
