Job Overview In this part-time evening shift role, you will be the primary point of contact for policyholders who are considering canceling their life insurance policies. Your goal will be to engage with these customers, understand their concerns, and provide personalized solutions to retain their business. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same, and your creativity and problem-solving skills will be essential in finding innovative ways to respond to customer inquiries. Key Responsibilities Engage in high-volume phone contact with policyholders requesting cancellations, providing exceptional customer service and support. Resell the benefits of life insurance and highlight its importance, addressing customer concerns and providing personalized solutions. Handle cancellation requests in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring customer satisfaction in every interaction. Maintain high standards for call volume, handling time, and overall time management, meeting performance metrics and targets. Ensure customer satisfaction in every interaction, whether via phone, email, or written correspondence, and follow up with customers as needed. What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you will need to have: At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume contact center environment, a receptionist role, or any role that involved frequent phone interaction. A High School Diploma or equivalent, and be at least 18 years of age or older. Remote work experience is strongly preferred, though not required, and you will need to have a reliable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload with a hard-wired connection) and smartphone access for VPN use. Upselling or retention experience is a preferred, and you will need to have strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic keyboard functions. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure, and strong organization and time management skills. You will need to be detail-oriented and customer-focused, with a quiet and professional workspace, and be able to work in a part-time evening shift schedule. Essential Qualifications In addition to the above requirements, you will need to: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations and priorities. Have a strong understanding of customer retention principles and practices, and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical setting. Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in customer retention and upselling. Bilingual skills in Spanish, with the ability to pass a bilingual assessment. Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities of remote work.
