In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of seniors by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining our proprietary "Rides in Sight" database of transportation options. This is a remote work-from-home position, and applicants must be based in the state of Maine. **Responsibilities** As a Database Researcher & Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Answering telephone calls from older adults on arenaflex's Rides in Sight hotline, helping connect them with the best transportation options to meet their needs. * Maintaining the Rides in Sight database by performing internet research and database maintenance. * Accepting other related duties and tasks as required. * Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless communication and support for our clients. * Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our clients. **Key Skills and Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with older adults and other stakeholders. * Comfortable speaking over the telephone and a positive and professional telephone etiquette. * Highly organized and attentive to detail, with the ability to concentrate on one task for several hours at a time. * Collaborative work style, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Nonprofit experience preferred but not required. **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. * 1-2 years of experience in customer service, research, or a related field. * Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management software. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with seniors, either professionally or personally. * Familiarity with arenaflex's mission and values. * Experience with database management software and research techniques. * Strong writing and communication skills. **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote work-from-home position, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. arenaflex is committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
