As a service technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical services, light remanufacturing, and troubleshooting on soft drink fountain equipment, ensuring that all refrigeration gear is in proper working condition. This role will cover repair demands in the designated region, providing an opportunity to work directly with clients and make a positive impact on their experience with blithequark products. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical services and light remanufacturing on soft drink fountain equipment according to blithequark standards Investigate and diagnose issues with soft drink fountain equipment Maintain all refrigeration gear in appropriate working condition Move equipment to perform all mechanical services on fountain hardware, including preventive maintenance, programming, and corrective repairs Provide exceptional customer support, remaining positive, and working collaboratively as a team player to create outstanding customer-centric organizations Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent degree/certification Valid driver's license Technical aptitude to repair machines Ability to lift 50 pounds Flexibility to appear on Saturday or Sunday and holidays as required Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field Previous experience in customer support or a related field Knowledge of soft drink fountain equipment and refrigeration systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Technical skills: ability to troubleshoot and repair soft drink fountain equipment, knowledge of refrigeration systems Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication, ability to work with clients and internal stakeholders Problem-solving skills: ability to diagnose and resolve issues with equipment, think critically and outside the box Time management skills: ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines Teamwork skills: ability to work collaboratively as a team player, provide support to colleagues, and contribute to a positive work environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
