Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Technician to join our team at the Roanoke Customer Service Center. As a part-time member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, communicating policies and procedures, and delivering exceptional customer service to our clients. Key Responsibilities Communicate policies, procedures, and regulations to customers in a clear and concise manner Issue IDs, process applications, and administer vision, driver, and in-car road tests Process diverse vehicle registrations, titling, tax and fee collection, and other blithequark-related services Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals Maintain accurate and detailed records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with organizational policies Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: Customer service experience working in a fast-paced environment Experience using a personal computer or other automated systems Excellent oral and written communication skills Flexibility to work Monday to Friday and Saturday Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and multitasking skills Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to complete assignments on time Driving records should have a point balance of less than six demerit points and no major convictions Experience working in a team or group environment Ability to lift 10-25 pounds Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Previous experience working in a customer-facing role Knowledge of blithequark policies and procedures Experience working with diverse customer groups Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees. Compensation and Benefits The hiring range for this position is commensurate with experience, starting at $16.07 per hour. As a part-time employee, you will be limited to working no more than 1,500 hours per agency during the 12 months of May 1 – April 30, regardless of the hire date.
