Your Role as a Customer Service Associate - Tool Rental As a Customer Service Associate - Tool Rental, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our Tool Rental department. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, answering questions, and providing solutions to their home improvement challenges. Your goal will be to ensure that every customer has a positive experience in our store and that they leave feeling confident and satisfied with their purchase. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers to Lowes and deliver friendly and professional customer service Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise in the Tool Rental department Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure that customers receive merchandise as expected and on time Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service Prepare merchandise in the Tool Rental department based on customer needs Guide customers through shopping or checkout and provide solutions to their home improvement challenges Complete other duties as assigned to support the success of the team Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction) Ability to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties Ability to minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation Preferred Qualifications 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience Bi-lingual skills Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials) What We Offer Competitive Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $17.00 - $23.80 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
