Job Overview In this part-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing invoices, and reconciling accounts. As a key member of our team, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with the option to select your desired business hours from 7AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations Manage accounts payable and receivable, including entering bills, paying vendors, and reconciling accounts Prepare invoices and perform monthly account reconciliation Run weekly payroll and monitor Unemployment Insurance/Withholding compliance with multiple state agencies Monitor cash flow and manage financial transactions, including bank and loan statements Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure seamless financial operations and provide support as needed Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: Proven experience as a bookkeeper, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices Highly proficient in QuickBooks AP/AR/Multi-state Payroll and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic knowledge of tax regulations and financial concepts, with an Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred Comfortable working in a mostly remote setting with occasional in-person meetings Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a software consulting or staffing firm Knowledge of financial management software and systems Certification in bookkeeping or accounting, such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) Experience with accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Third Eye Software, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
