Job Summary Reporting to the Vice President, Sales, and working closely with the Engineering Departments, the successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting and rapidly developing new business accounts, as well as maintaining existing relationships, to drive sales growth, increase market share, and boost profitability. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build influential relationships with customers, purchasing contacts, and internal stakeholders across various departments. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement innovative strategies to successfully prospect and develop new customers within the assigned territory Generate new sales leads, prepare quotes for customers and prospective customers, and provide related technical support as required Establish sales forecasts and secure sales orders in line with performance goals Attend and participate in tradeshows to promote products and services Educate customers on products, proper application of products, and assist them with product selection based on specific needs Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and sales, to stay up-to-date on product developments and industry trends Essential Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should possess: 3-5 years of proven outside sales experience in industrial machine tools and building strong business relationships Technical experience in CNC machine tools, preferred Associate's Degree or Technical Certification in a manufacturing, engineering, or similar discipline; Bachelor's Degree, a plus Knowledge of preparing computerized spreadsheets via Excel and customer presentation programs Computer savvy and experience with the MS Office suite of products Astute oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional time management, organizational, accuracy, multi-tasking, attention to detail, problem-solving, presentation, customer service, and follow-through skills Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with CRM software and ability to utilize it to manage sales activities and customer interactions Knowledge of the manufacturing industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you should possess: Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and close deals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders Technical knowledge of CNC machine tools and automation systems, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical information Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve customer issues Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
