Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Order Entry and Customer Service Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments, including Management, Shipping, and Production, as well as with third-party logistics providers to guarantee efficient and timely delivery of our products. Key Responsibilities Process orders with precision and speed, ensuring all related paperwork is accurate and complete to meet our high service standards. Collaborate with the Customer Service team as a backup for answering phone calls, providing exceptional support and resolving customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain detailed and organized records, both physically and digitally, to ensure easy access to customer information and order history. Contribute to the team's goals by accomplishing departmental objectives, participating in continuous improvement initiatives, and suggesting innovative solutions to enhance our processes and customer experience. Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of blithequark's products and services to effectively support customer inquiries and promote our offerings. Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the department and the organization as a whole. The essential qualifications include: Previous office experience, preferably in a customer-facing or order processing role. A High School Diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability and willingness to learn other software applications as needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a proven track record of minimizing errors in a fast-paced environment. Mathematical skills that are above average, with the ability to perform quick calculations and manage numerical data accurately.
