About the Role We're looking for experienced and passionate online English tutors to coach, tutor, and help students achieve their language learning goals. Key Responsibilities Teach English online to Preply students from all over the world, on your own schedule and at your own price Create your own lesson plans or use Preply's curriculum for your lessons with your students Use Preply's integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students Access training and professional development through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars Provide comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs and help them achieve their language learning goals Be energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful in your interactions with students Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Proficiency in English A University degree or Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably online A high-speed internet connection Preferred Qualifications: Experience providing comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Experience with online teaching platforms and tools Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Preply tutor, you'll need: Excellent communication and teaching skills Ability to be patient, understanding, and supportive Strong organizational and time management skills Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced online environment Passion for language learning and teaching Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Preply, we're committed to helping our tutors grow and develop their skills.
