Job Summary As a North Carolina Remote Fundraising Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for making outbound fundraising calls to existing and potential donors, using a script to influence them to donate to a cause or candidate. You will also be responsible for processing credit card gifts, working with coaches on the online calling platform to increase success, and recording donor information accurately in our computer system. Key Responsibilities Make outbound fundraising calls on an automated dialer to existing and potential donors Answer incoming calls from prospective customers and provide information about candidates or causes Use scripts to provide information about candidates or causes and influence donors to make a contribution Record donor information accurately in our computer system Correctly code calls and track progress Work with coaches on the online calling platform to increase success and improve performance Meet or exceed monthly fundraising goals and contribute to the overall success of the team Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong and diverse skillset, including excellent communication and sales skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for making a difference. You will also need to have a reliable internet connection, a computer or laptop, and a USB headset. We provide two weeks of paid training, plus an additional "Nesting Week" to help you get started and succeed in your role. Essential Qualifications Excellent communication and sales skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to meet or exceed monthly fundraising goals Reliable internet connection and computer or laptop USB headset (or the ability to obtain one prior to training) Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, with the option to work up to 40 hours per week Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in sales or fundraising Knowledge of politics and social issues Experience working with automated dialer systems Strong technical skills and ability to learn new software and systems Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to have a range of skills and competencies, including excellent communication and sales skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for making a difference.
