Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team on the 3rd shift, working Monday through Friday from 10PM to 6:30AM. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating industrial vehicles and equipment to move product or materials in a production or warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Operate industrial vehicles and equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move product or materials in a production or warehouse environment Transport raw materials, full goods, and/or finished goods to designated areas, ensuring timely and efficient delivery Load and unload designated trailers and/or route trucks, following all safety protocols and procedures Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and quality control measures Move product and/or materials manually as required, using proper lifting techniques to prevent injury Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles and company standards Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and objectives, providing excellent customer service and support Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: High School or GED preferred, with 0-3 years of general work experience required 1+ years of prior warehouse/stocking/forklift experience preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics Previous experience within a high-speed industrial environment is a plus, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product, with a strong focus on safety and attention to detail Demonstrated attention to detail, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills Forklift certification is required, with the ability to obtain certification if not already held Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with strong self-motivation and discipline Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and management Problem-solving skills: strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions Time management skills: excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects Attention to detail: strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy Safety awareness: strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures, with a focus on preventing injuries and ensuring a safe working environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
