Job Overview As a Middle School Math Tutor with Tutoring of Nashville, you'll play a vital role in shaping the academic experiences of our students. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, one-on-one tutoring sessions to middle school students in math, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs and learning styles. Prepare and deliver comprehensive lesson plans, ensuring that each session is engaging, informative, and aligned with the student's academic goals. Submit session reports to our office and families within 24 hours of each tutoring session, providing updates on student progress and areas for further focus. Effectively manage your tutoring schedule, balancing hours allocated to each assigned student and ensuring seamless communication with our office. Address client concerns, questions, and requests in a professional and timely manner, fostering strong relationships with our students and their families. Proactively monitor student enrollment packages and notify our office when hours are running low, ensuring continuity of service. Maintain accurate records and perform basic data entry tasks as required, utilizing your administrative skills to support our operations. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed as a Middle School Math Tutor with Tutoring of Nashville, you'll need: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the education field, preferably in tutoring or teaching middle school math. A strong understanding of middle school math curricula and the ability to adapt to different teaching methods and learning styles. Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus, although not mandatory. Proficiency in basic database/data entry tasks and strong administrative skills.
