Main Function and Responsibilities The primary function of this role is to transcribe medical reports for hospitals and physicians in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with JCAHO and hospital requirements. As a Medical Transcriptionist at Workwarp, your key responsibilities will include: Transcribing medical reports with high accuracy and attention to detail, meeting productivity and quality standards Managing and prioritizing transcription tasks to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of reports Utilizing transcription software and technology to produce high-quality transcripts Collaborating with healthcare professionals to clarify any discrepancies or inaccuracies in medical reports Staying up-to-date with industry developments, medical terminology, and transcription guidelines to maintain expertise Education and Experience Requirements To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following education and experience requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent qualification Minimum 6 months of experience as a transcriptionist, preferably in a medical transcription setting Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Proficiency in transcription software and technology, with the ability to learn new systems and tools Department and Work Environment This role is situated within the Pathology department, where you will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality transcription services.
