Job Overview This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team as a full-time Project Associate, working in a hybrid environment that combines the flexibility of remote work with the collaboration and camaraderie of in-office days. Your week will be split into a mix of 2-3 days working from home and 2-3 days in the office, allowing you to balance your work and personal life effectively. As a key member of our Revenue Recovery Department, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our team of healthcare professionals, ensuring that our clients receive the reimbursement they are entitled to. Key Responsibilities Retrieving patient medical records from various hospital systems, utilizing your technical skills to navigate different databases and software applications. Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Extracting and entering necessary information from/to hospital patient accounting systems, maintaining the integrity of our data and records. Making phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain information needed on patients, developing strong communication and interpersonal skills. Running and creating reports to support our revenue recovery efforts, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry tasks as needed by the recovery team, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities. Scanning and indexing documents, maintaining organized and secure records in accordance with our quality standards. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills. These include: A strong foundation in data entry and management, with experience working with Excel and other software applications. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
