Job Summary The Medical Billing Revenue Cycle Trip Intake Data Entry Representative will work within our Trip Intake Team to enter base rate, loaded miles, and wait time charges into our billing system. This is a part-time position, offering 25 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime up to 29 hours per week. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our billing processes. Key Responsibilities Apply appropriate base rate mileage charges into the billing system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Apply appropriate wait time charges to the billing system, following established guidelines and protocols. Accurately assign accounts to the next department, ensuring seamless workflow and minimizing delays. Ensure all accounts are worked correctly to allow distribution to the floor in a timely manner, meeting productivity and quality standards. Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Six (6) months of data entry experience, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to pay close attention to details and find discrepancies in data, with a strong focus on quality and precision. Basic skills with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use functions for sums and perform data analysis. Experience with downloading documents from websites and accessing downloaded documents, with a strong understanding of digital file management. Ability to type descriptions of steps taken into the billing system, with strong typing skills and attention to detail. Ability to gather data, compile information, and apply data entry steps accurately to accounts, with a strong analytical mindset. Preferred Education While not required, we prefer candidates with: A high school diploma or equivalent.
