Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Math Instructor to join our team at Mathnasium of Cary, IL. As a Math Instructor, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and productive learning experience for students, providing exceptional instruction and tutoring services, and participating in positive interactions with parents. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students, using the Mathnasium Method and terminology Participate in positive interactions with parents, establishing a high level of confidence and program value Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes, using technology to enhance the learning experience Teach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery, using individualized instruction in a group setting Assess students' progress throughout instructional sessions, working collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework, providing constructive feedback and support Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for students to learn Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of the center Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a passion for math and working with students, excellent interpersonal skills, and exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I. You should be able to balance various ongoing tasks, be willing to learn and be trained, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality education.
