Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Math Instructor / Tutor to join our team at Mathnasium of Creve Coeur. Key Responsibilities Provide Exceptional Instruction/Tutoring Services: Deliver high-quality math education services to students, tailoring your instruction to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student. Positive Interactions with Parents: Establish strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on student progress, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Proficiency with Digital Educational Materials: Become proficient with our digital educational materials and processes, ensuring seamless delivery of instruction and effective communication with students and parents. Teaching in-Center, Online, and/or Hybrid Delivery: Teach math concepts using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices, which include individualized instruction in a group setting. Assessing Student Progress: Regularly assess student progress throughout instructional sessions, working collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students. Evaluating, Grading, and Correcting Student Work: Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework, providing constructive feedback to students and parents. Maintaining a Clean and Professional Learning Environment: Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment, ensuring a safe and conducive space for students to learn. Non-Teaching/ Instructional Tasks: Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of our center. Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Math Competency: A strong foundation in math, with at least Algebra I experience and a willingness to learn and adapt to new concepts.
