Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a Manufacturing Engineer at arenaflex, you will lead complex, multidisciplinary projects, designing requirements with internal clients and guiding projects through the entire project lifecycle. You will utilize your insight into the tools, processes, and methods used to build and scale high-volume manufacturing and assembly operations. Your role will be crucial in collaborating with Hardware Directors and Design Architects to determine arenaflex's system needs and product specifications, ensuring the various components of our infrastructure fit together seamlessly to provide a smooth and consistent user experience. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and manage the implementation of flexible manufacturing processes and systems for specific data center products, optimizing for cost, quality, and flexibility. Collaborate with Design, Product Management, and Operations teams to identify and address potential manufacturing roadblocks in early development stages. Analyze and interpret complex production data to drive informed manufacturing strategies, identifying and implementing solutions to enhance performance and efficiency across the supply chain. Lead the evaluation, qualification, and strategic development of contract manufacturers with a focus on future capabilities and growth. Utilize Product Data Management (PDM) systems to create Bills of Materials (BOM), Approved Vendor Lists (AVL), and manage Engineering Change Notices/Requests (ECN/O), leading the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team to align figure and BOM structures. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Designing, Cycle Designing, Assembling Designing, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience as a Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, or Product Designer. At least 6 years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of civil high-voltage applications in data center construction. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including LEAN Manufacturing/5S/8D practices, and experience with charging data centers. Ability to influence the product electrical design and manufacturing process, with excellent communication and collaboration skills. Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: A graduate degree in Science or a related field. Experience directing yield improvements and process duration reductions for high-volume and high-complexity parts. Expertise in LEAN Manufacturing/5S/8D practices and experience with charging data centers. Ability to impact the product electrical design and manufacturing process, with a strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback.
