Our commitment to friendly, reliable, and low-cost air travel has made us the preferred choice for millions of customers around the world. **Key Responsibilities** As a Manager State & Higher Education at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: * Executing the strategic direction of our SLED managed travel accounts, including increasing sales, establishing formal partnerships, and broadening awareness of our corporate travel programs and services * Coaching and developing our Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles * Identifying, hiring, onboarding, and training a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction * Analyzing data and metrics to inform business decisions and optimize performance * Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure blithequark remains a leader in the managed travel space **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field * At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the managed travel industry * Proven track record of success in sales, account management, and team leadership * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software applications **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus: * Experience working in a remote or virtual environment * Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools * Certification in a related field, such as sales or marketing * Experience working with government or higher education institutions **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders * Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to inform business decisions * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership * Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and navigate complex business environments **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
