About the Role We're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chat Specialist to join our team. As a Chat Specialist at blithequark, you'll interact with customers across phone, email, and chat, delivering expert assistance with an emphasis on luxury service. You'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences, promoting our products, and helping clients find their perfect piece of jewelry. Key Responsibilities: Accurately and professionally communicate with customers through various channels to maintain the high-touch blithequark experience. Provide expert knowledge on diamonds, gemstones, and jewelry, promoting products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Assist with custom orders and offer personalized service tailored to each client's unique needs. Identify the root cause of inquiries and proactively offer solutions that exceed customer expectations. Handle complex customer service challenges with patience, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach. Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales goals and promote blithequark's products and services. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the luxury jewelry industry. Essential Qualifications: Previous experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or call centers. High School Diploma or GED required; GIA certification or willingness to pursue it is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and listening). Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Luxury goods experience or fine jewelry knowledge is highly preferred. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in typing, data entry, and navigating CRM software. Preferred Qualifications: GIA certification or equivalent experience in the jewelry industry. Experience working with luxury jewelry brands or high-end retailers. Knowledge of diamond and gemstone characteristics, including the 4Cs (carat, color, clarity, and cut). Familiarity with jewelry design and manufacturing processes. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales analytics tools.
