Job Overview arenaflex is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Local Class A Truck Driver to join its team. Key Responsibilities Operate a Class A vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo as needed, with the majority of deliveries being drop and hook, and 100% no-touch freight. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding route updates, traffic conditions, and any issues that may arise during the shift. Utilize handheld technology and smartphone apps (iPhone provided) to manage routes, track deliveries, and stay in touch with the team. Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to stay updated on the latest safety protocols and best practices. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: Be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A Commercial Driver License. Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record and a good DAC report. Hold an updated DOT Medical Card. Successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment and reliably complete assigned tasks. Preferred qualifications include previous experience as a Class A truck driver, familiarity with Amazon logistics, and a proven track record of safe driving practices.
