Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including: Promptly responding to customer queries via email, live chat, video, phone, and social media channels, providing timely and effective solutions to their issues. Immediately escalating serious complaints or issues that you are not equipped to deal with, ensuring that they are addressed promptly and efficiently. Liaising with colleagues or managers to find the best solutions to customers’ issues, demonstrating excellent teamwork and communication skills. Identifying common problems and escalating them to management, along with possible suggestions for improvement, wherever possible, helping to drive continuous improvement and growth. Maintaining a polite, helpful, and professional manner at all times, providing a positive and supportive experience for our customers. Obtaining and sharing customer feedback with colleagues and other departments, so that products and services can be improved, and customer satisfaction can be enhanced. Familiarizing yourself with new products and services as they are introduced, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and innovations. Attending workshops and meetings as required, participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. Providing training to new customer service agents, sharing your expertise and experience to help them succeed in their roles. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or GED, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning. Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field may be advantageous, providing a deeper understanding of the principles and practices of customer service. Practical experience with help desk software, such as Zendesk, and CRM software, such as Salesforce Sales Cloud, may be required, demonstrating your ability to work with technology and leverage tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, providing a strong foundation in customer service principles and practices. The ability to respond appropriately under pressure, remaining calm and composed in challenging situations. Sound judgment and excellent problem-solving skills, enabling you to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions. The ability to speak a second language may be advantageous, enhancing your ability to communicate with a diverse range of customers and provide support in multiple languages.
