Job Overview In this part-time remote role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to arenaflex crewmembers, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to excel in their positions. As a key member of our IT team, you will be the primary point of contact for crewmembers seeking help with various technical issues, from hardware and software problems to network and system-related concerns. Key Responsibilities Offer support for all arenaflex equipment and applications, including communication and mobile devices Provide exceptional on-site and remote customer service to arenaflex crewmembers, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues Coordinate the resolution of incidents and requests from start to finish, working with internal and external resources as needed Monitor and maintain systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime Maintain and support client access, working with software package rollouts and support Collaborate with all IT disciplines to achieve first-contact resolution for all issues Maintain documentation of requests per arenaflex standards, updating database documentation with relevant information Coordinate responses to significant incidents and outages, ensuring minimal disruption to crewmembers and operations Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess: A High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate Experience supporting the latest operating systems or successful completion of IT for Everyone certification via Coursera Experience implementing and supporting applications Availability for short-term travel (up to 50%) and possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of Jamaica and the US Ability to obtain a valid visa to travel to the US Experience using desktop configuration packages Legal eligibility to work in the country where the position is located (note: this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship) Preferred Skills and Qualifications While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable: Certifications (Microsoft, Networking, programming languages) Knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server products Knowledge of Exchange and Office Suite Understanding of LAN environment using TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS Familiarity with communication, messaging, and system (VOIP and POTS) Knowledge of mobile devices Experience with MDM solutions like Workspace ONE and Microsoft Intune Knowledge of multimedia solutions Crewmember Expectations As a valued member of the arenaflex team, you will be expected to: Demonstrate regular attendance and reliability Be available to work flexible hours and respond to requests on short notice Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Support the arenaflex culture and values, including Safety, Caring, Honesty, Energy, and Fun Advance arenaflex's number one value of safety as a Safety Representative, supporting the Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy, and social norms Identify and report safety or security concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards in a timely and transparent manner, using arenaflex's confidential reporting systems Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our crewmembers.
