As a member of our team, you will be part of a dynamic and inclusive workplace that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. **Responsibilities** As an Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling property and casualty (p&c) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone. Your primary objectives will be to: * Provide policyholders with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium * Review and update policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer * Counsel policyholders concerning appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws that will best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance * Make appropriate recommendations and/or changes to the policy and gain policyholder acceptance to process the changes * Receive and respond to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity in EPIC * Utilize knowledge of insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service * Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms for insured, and act as liaison for information exchange between customer and insurance companies * Process changes to policies within EPIC as well as submit changes to specific companies, following up with company to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner * Review policy information and references company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims * Mail insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from member/customer * Recognize cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtain quote information **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need: * High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment * Property and Casualty insurance license required * Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex insurance policies and procedures * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously **What We Offer** As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including: * A competitive hourly rate, depending on experience and salary zone * Eligibility for Annual Merit Increase * Comprehensive Health benefits package, including Paid Time Off (accruals begin on first day of employment), 401(k) plan with a company match, Medical, Dental, Prescription, and Vision Coverage, Tuition Reimbursement, Life Insurance, and Flexible Spending Accounts * Nearly 4 weeks of paid time off accrued during the first year * Paid time off to volunteer * Tuition reimbursement * 401(K) plan with company match up to 7% * Free AAA Premier Battery Membership **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from home, with the ability to connect with colleagues and clients through our virtual communication platforms.
