**Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative (Work from Home) – Property & Casualty Insurance Expert**

With a commitment to excellence and a passion for innovation, we strive to create a workplace culture that is inclusive, diverse, and supportive of our team members' growth and development. **Job Summary** As an Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling property and casualty (P&C) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone. You will provide customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium, while also identifying opportunities to apply discounts and process insurance verification forms for insured. If you have a strong understanding of insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Responsibilities** As an Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include: * Contacting policyholders from the agencies existing book of business through inbound/outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal * Reviewing and updating policy to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer * Counseling the policyholder concerning appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws that will best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance * Making appropriate recommendations and/or changes to the policy and gaining policyholder acceptance to process the changes * Receiving and responding to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity (changes to policy, coverage options, recommendations, and cross-selling) in EPIC * Utilizing knowledge of insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service * Providing quotes on endorsements as requested * Identifying opportunities to apply discounts, processing insurance verification forms for insured, and acting as liaison for information exchange between customer and insurance companies * Processing changes to policies within EPIC, as well as submitting changes to specific companies and following up with company to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner * Reviewing policy information and referencing company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims * Mailing insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, and following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from member/customer * Recognizing cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtaining quote information * Performing other duties as assigned **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment * A Property and Casualty insurance license, which is required * A Membership license, which is preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment **What We Offer** As an Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will enjoy a competitive hourly rate, depending on experience and salary zone, as well as eligibility for Annual Merit Increase.
